Objective of Program
• To provide sustainable social and economic benefits from the construction of roads and provide access to services, markets.
• To create awareness.
• Involve the beneficiaries in the road construction process.
• To increase the income of the road construction committee members.
• To increase the capacity of marginalized communities and involve them in the decision-making process.
• To capacitate the road construction group beneficiaries in keeping general accounting. 

 

Program Output
• A total of 81 road construction groups were formed and mobilized.
• A total of 1602 members (881 females and 721 male) supported road construction.
• First aid medicine was distributed to 81 groups.
• Various types of training were conducted for the members of the group

–     Saving and Credit- 162
–     Literacy facilitation- 81
–    Improvised cooking- 20
• The beneficiaries were supported with 24,633 kg of rice and NRs. 786,715 for their work.
• Among them 25 groups have created a saving amount of NRs. 78,670 as 10% of the money provided to them.
• 36.590 km of road was constructed.
• Skill development and enterprise development and market coordination were conducted during and after the completion of road construction.
• Social mobilization, saving and credit mobilization, literacy, and non-formal education were conducted for the members of the group formed.
