Objective of the Program
• To expand the coverage of improved water supply and sanitation facilities to underserved populations to improve health and hygiene practices related to water borne and sanitation related diseases.
    
Program Output
• 10 water supply and sanitation schemes were constructed in Subeda VDC benefitting 361 HHs and 2481 population
• The scheme covers 115 water taps with 9 RVT and 9 intakes.
• 11 water supply and sanitation schemes were constructed in Luyata VDC benefitting 182 HH and 1334 populations.
• The scheme covers 53 water taps with 21 RVT and 3 intakes.
• Public awareness campaign, Health and hygiene education and sanitation activities
• Detailed engineering study and preparation of socio-economic and engineering report
• Construction, supervision and monitoring of water supply schemes
• Orientation/training to Water User's and Sanitation Committees (WUSCs)
• Gender caste and ethnic group orientation training
• Training for community health volunteers, health workers, teachers and students
• Non-formal education activities
• WUSC pre-construction training (management/accounting)
• Training on income generation
